Financial & Insurance

The cost of your orthodontic treatment may vary depending on your individual needs and treatment plan. Our team will discuss with you the cost of your treatment and your payment plan options, so you can make the best choice for you, and your smile.

Paying for Your Treatment
We believe it’s important to make our patient’s lives easier by reducing the tension that comes with paying for orthodontic treatment. We want the payments to be flexible, easy and stress-free. This is all a part of our effort to give patients another reason to smile. We offer in-house options with no interest so we can have an open relationship with our patients and listen to their financial concerns. We know braces are a gift that parents want to give to their children and many adults want to give to themselves. A lifelong, confident smile is important. We believe we can help you get that smile by offering flexible and unique payment options. For your convenience, we offer monthly payments to be electronically debited from the account of your choice.

Will My Dental Insurance Cover Treatment?
Many dental insurance plans offer an orthodontic benefit which would help cover part of the cost of treatment. We ask that you provide us with all your insurance information we would need to help determine the benefits you may have available. We will contact your insurance company to confirm benefits and answer any questions you may have. Your orthodontic benefit is a lifetime maximum amount set by your plan. This benefit is paid as a percentage of the orthodontic fee until the benefit maximum has been met. Charges for lost or broken appliances may not be covered by insurance. For your convenience, we will gladly assist you in submitting both predetermination and initial insurance claims pertaining to charges for your care in our clinic. Please be aware our primary financial relationship is with the patient and not with their respective insurance company.

Do Clear Braces Cost More Than Metal Braces?
No! We treat patients like family, and we want you to get the orthodontic option that you want without paying any more for it.

Is There an Additional Charge for Retainers?
No! Your initial set of retainers are included in the original treatment cost. If you lose them, they are broken, or your dog eats them there will be a minimal additional fee to replace them. The original treatment cost will cover follow-up retainer checks at no cost for 18 months after your removal date.

Will My Flexible Spending (FSA) or Health Savings (HSA) Account Cover Treatment?
Orthodontic treatment almost always qualifies for reimbursement from your FSA or HSA account. If you have one of these accounts, let us know and we will provide you with the proper receipt so you can submit for reimbursement.

What Our Patients Are Saying
Compared to other places I've been, Keesler Orthodontics is more informative and reliable. Everything was explained to us very well. We were left with no doubts after the examination and started the treatment immediately. The doctors and the staff are all very friendly and helpful.

It's rare to have that doctor experience where they truly understand your individual situation and can finally explain why you have these problems, even when other doctors didn't believe you. I had that experience with Dr. Keesler. He explained so many of my unanswered questions. I can tell by his recommendations that he cares about what's in my best interest. It's so refreshing to have a doctor so intelligent who really cares about helping his patients. The staff is very friendly and kind.
